Thanks, Dave and Peter's significant contribution to the sim world deserves preservation. It is great that Simouthouse are providing the space for this very British centric record of an aviation industry that is fading into the rear view mirror of history! Nowadays we just make bits for others.

I should also thank the long-suffering backroom staff who tidy up the uploads which stray into the wrong categories. I should by now be able to spot the difference between civilian props and civilian props repaints when I am adding a batch. A couple always seem to stray each time.

(Not sure that I should admit how many of Peter's are still to go....)

This archive contains only FS9 texture files for a repaint of N5519, of ‘Charity’ fame on Malta in 1940, for the Gloster Gladiator Mk2 FS2004 model by David Molyneaux (molyned).

In April 1940 the Royal Navy agreed to pass three crated Sea Gladiators to the Royal Air Force for the air defence of Malta. The aircraft formed the Hal Far Fighter Flight. they were given the names 'Faith', 'Hope' and 'Charity', although the names were not official and were not painted on the aircraft...

This archive contains only FS9 texture files for a repaint of N5520, of ‘Faith’ fame on Malta in 1940, for the Gloster Gladiator Mk2 FS2004 model by David Molyneaux (molyned).

N5520 was unofficially christened ‘Faith’ while flying with the Hal Far Fighter Flight on Malta. She shot down 2 Savoia Marchetti SM79 bombers and 2 Fiat CR42 fighters. The fuselage is preserved in Valletta.
