There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Please see the most recent updates in the "Where did the .com name go?" thread. Posts number 16 and 17.
Yea, same here. If it's not too cumbersome, I wouldn't mind anything that could do a better job than the default ATC.I'm curious too. After my 3rd fly over 'maintain 3,100 ft and expect vectors', I cancelled IFR plans and landed. The FSX ATC is so weird sometimes!
I've been following a pretty long thread about ProATC at another sim site. Seems the product is still in development and has a number of flaws and shortcomings that the developer intends to address.
Yep, use that all the time. . .but it doesn't cure the built in incompetence of the AI Controllers, lol.falcon, you might try ringing some changes for free with Editvoicepack
best,

Yea, that's one of many, lol"Flight plan cleared as filed", then no more than 30 seconds of flight without a course correction and possibly never vectors or clearance to land. Is that what you are referring to Falcon409

I remember a number of years ago trying out a program that tied in real people acting as controllers with FS pilots. Is that still around?
