Does anyone know where I can find the Project AI base files in particular the B747SP? I have looked in all the usual places find lots and lots of repaints but no base files. I have tried the links but I pretty sure all the links have been dead for a long time.

Sadly, unless somebody has a saved copy, you are probably going to be out of luck; when Project AI shut up shop a lot of unique models went with them, and licensing issues have prevented them being hosted elsewhere. One of the pitfalls of our hobby, sadly.

This is true Andy, it's like making a work of art and not allowing anyone to view it. I understand the attitude for pay-ware but cannot comprehend it for free-ware. It just seems like such a waste to create and not share that creation.

Yep. And I know of at least one designer who made the model at the request of PAI, so has no rights to his own creation. Go figure.

I think I have it but can I PM it as long as I don't "post" it anywhere? There is no readme for guidance.

Just to be safe, I'd suggest transferring any PAI files via private email.
