RAF Tangmere

Wow, nice surprise Ian. Fits great with our other projects. So downloaded this day before yesterday, installed it yesterday morning and thought wow, this looks great, but it is pretty lonely around here, so spent the entire day researching and building traffic and modifying the ADE for my environment and now, great scenery and traffic though more to do.

1955-57 Traffic,
By 1955, Tangmere was a key fighter station for the air defense of Southern England, having just transitioned from the Gloster Meteor.
No. 1 Squadron: Re-equipped with the Hawker Hunter F.5 (arrived August 1955).
No. 34 Squadron: Operating the Hawker Hunter F.2 and later the F.5.
No. 22 Squadron: A detachment of Westland Whirlwind HAR.2/HAR.10 helicopters began search-and-rescue duties. (They do fly in this traffic)

1959-62 Traffic - Fighters gone and Transition to Signals Command.
Following the departure of the fighter squadrons in June 1958, Tangmere's role shifted toward electronics and calibration. No. 245 Squadron: Having moved from RAF Watton in August 1958, they operated the English Electric Canberra B.2 for radar calibration duties.
No. 115 Squadron: Operating Vickers Varsity T.1 aircraft for calibration of TACAN and GCA (Ground Controlled Approach) systems and
No. 22 Squadron: Steady SAR presence with Westland Whirlwind helicopters.

This was just too good to let sit there with no traffic.

Hi AI,

Congratulations! It looks very fine, although Ian already did a nice job. Do you once intend to release your traffic? I know, you are still working hard and intensively on other classic projects. So let you time.
