RAZBAM Hawker Tempest Mk. V

uuugghh.....looks great......I just wish these companies would finish onhand projects first. How long have we been waiting on the A-26? The Helldiver? The Metroliner?

Maybe its just me I don't know. :isadizzy:

I can understand and share this point of view, but Razbam is not concerned, imho. He has a regular production of quality add-ons : Corsair, Harrier, Kestrel, Buckeye... So, I'm confident we will also see the Metro soon.

Most of all, this tempest is a really good idea, and looks great !!

If you use facebook you should have had the answers months ago dude! But, as is this at least the second time you ask the above (though in two completely different threads), you finally prove your negative filled replies has no knowledge about the projects at all. Like you said, you don't know, you don't want to know, all you like to do is whining like a kid in a candy store.
My advice, if you like to know about the projects, and follow their progress, you better check the RAZBAM facebook site.

Whoa hold on there! There are plenty of people who DON'T use facebook! I am one of them. No need to go around insulting people because they might not know a thing or two.

How do you know he doesn't want to know? Just because he won't get a facebook account to know more about Razbam products?

Skyhawks mail does not strike me as being out of line but yours does - insulting people here because you don't agree with them should be a no-no.

I "resemble" that remark! I don't use facebook or any other social media for the simple reason everytime I signed up for one of these things I got really hacked within a couple of weeks. I haven't been hacked for over 2 years after not being a party to these sites. I have no problem with a developer using a social media site to advertise their products but, in return I went them to know I am not stupid because I choose to not use them.:pop4::pop4:

Best, Paul

I think you might have mis-interpreted the post by Hank. He wasn't insisting that you get a Facebook account to get Razbam information, that is why this information is posted here.

What he was directing his comment to was the fact that when a Razbam post is on Sim Outhouse, there is a little bit of friction from certain people, and which they do have a Facebook accounts will say something they already know the question too. He was only defending the countless chronic aggravation from the same people. Ultimately then Razbam doesn't want to post here and tend to use Facebook, so like you said that you enjoy coming to Sim Outhouse to get information and we lose out.

I understand that point of view Paul. But you don't make negative remarks of non finished products right? So that remark does NOT apply to you.

Cheers,
Hank

All the info you need about their products without having a facebook account. None need! I don't have a facebook account either.

The one thing i'm really looking forward to hear is how well done the sound package is with this model , a unique sound the Napier Saber 24 cylinder , sure there must be a cut away of an engine used somewhere in the UK showing just how intricate and the engineering involved , we have one here on display at Wigram Air Force Museum in Christchurch , there is a brilliant 50 min video on Utube somewhere on the Tempest its in the MIA at the mo  well worth a watch ! .

Arr there we go ... let your fingers do the walking .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-CNdf2hp44 :cool:<input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><input jscode="leoInternalChangeDone()" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setTimeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

Wow, great video about the Hawker Tempest. One hour, seven minutes. Everything you should know about the Tempest.

There's a Sabre lightly cut at the RAF Museum, Hendon. I'm looking forward to more on this model. I have a Mk.II in the works, but it's for CFS3, sorry.

That would make for some "interesting" AI. :icon_lol:
Aim in the right spot and :pop4: it disappears :icon_lol:

I don't use Face Book or any other social media either so that was not a good response.

Anyway, back to scheduled programming ....

... only long enough so I can go OT myself ...

TLUK Designs did an FS9 V-1 - available at either FS or SMV. It was flyable ... but at a mdl size of just 339k, and if you strip out all the panels and associated textures, you could ostensibly use it as AI. Use AIFP to create flight plans that have it taking off and landing from obscure aerodromes that you don't visit in western France, Belgium, Holland and eastern UK - you could set this up quite easily.

Don't use facebook here either. The only way I found out about the Harrier update was through a post on here.
Razbam's website & forum seem to have gone AWOL, so that will be a "no sale" for me I'm afraid.

Especialy for Steven and Dave.
As this thread is about the Tempest, if someone starts whining about other projects instead, (and who does have a reputation allready known to some for being constantly negative about a certain dev), he should look at facebook.
Why, as this person is one who already made it happen to have news no longer being posted by the dev himself, only by those who visited the FB page and willing to share it with the SOH community.
And as Tufun already has shown, you don't need to have an account just to look at the page. (thanks Tufun for that :salute:)

See previous post made by timghetta, who explained it a lot better than I did.

Cheers,
Hank

Well, I'm on "FB", but I don't use it to keep track of FS releases or progress. I'm not too worried about it though. The Tempest looks great and I will probably get it. Same goes for the Helldiver when it's released. I figure I'll get the word here when any great plane is released, and I won't miss it. In the meantime, there are lots of fun planes to fly.

[h=5]Just saw this in my Facebook feed. Say goodbye to another Dev around here. BTW, I've been a Facebook member for 4 years now. I get on it multiple times a day and have never been hacked. I'm not sure what the 'always gets hacked' crowd is doing to always get hacked, but that sounds pretty odd.
[/h][h=5]" Razbam Sims Heads up, i´ve formally left SOH community forums since i believe it was better for them. I was a SOH member for more than 8 years and it was a great run. Keep up the good work SOH, and thank you for all the fish! "
[/h]

I don't know what to make of all this BS. There seems to have developed, here at SOH, "factions" associated with this payware developer and that payware developer, and they are at war with each other, at our expense. Digging trenches and firing vollies at each other here. Here, where we once had a motto of “let being helpful be more important than being right”. It's sad and infuriating. We, as staff, can't get in the middle of any of it without drawing fire from one of the "factions" involved. In the mean time, every developer sees nothing but the legions of members here who are out to bad-mouth them. From each of their perspectives, they are right. We can't even take the "high ground" and demand "fair play". All that does is draw fire from both parties, with accusations of favoritism. We've become "Balkanized" here, and I don't know what the answer is. You members here with axes to grind against this or that payware developer, and you know who you the hell you are, I blame you. You will be the death of this site, and a pox on your house for it.
