RAZBAM Metroliner for FSX/P3D released!

Problem returned after loading via default flight. If I choose the Metroliner directly from UI, error does not occur.
What functionality do I lose if I remove that sound gauge, only sounds?

This is the hydraulic and flap config;

[hydraulic_system]
//electric_pumps = 0
engine_map = 1,1,0,0
normal_pressure = 2200.000000

[Flaps.0]
system_type =1
span-outboard =0.500000
extending-time =0.000000
flaps-position.0 = 0 // degrees
flaps-position.1 = 6 // degrees 6
flaps-position.2 = 18 // degrees 18
flaps-position.3 = 36 // degrees 36
damaging-speed = 250 // KIAS
blowout-speed = 300 // KIAS
lift_scalar = 1.500
drag_scalar = 2.000
pitch_scalar = 1.000
type=0

Are you using the load/save module?
If so, delete the ZZZ_[blah].txt file if you've generated one and start over.

Other than that - unless someone else jumps forward with the same problem - it seems to be particular to your setup.
The only thing left that I can recommend is a careful reinstalltion of either the mods or the entire aircraft with a thorough check after every step.

Yes, you would only lose the switch sounds.

P.S:
Code:
[Flaps.0]
system_type             =1
span-outboard    =0.500000
extending-time   =0.000000
flaps-position.0 = 0                                    // degrees
flaps-position.1 = 6                                    // degrees  6
flaps-position.2 = 18                                   // degrees 18
flaps-position.3 = 36                                   // degrees 36
damaging-speed   = 250                                  // KIAS
blowout-speed    = 300                                  // KIAS
lift_scalar      = 1.500
drag_scalar      = 2.000
pitch_scalar     = 1.000
type=0

The type=0 line needs to be type=1.

Who is the saboteur? Confess!

That type=0 was the reason for the flap malfunction. I haven't touched that line at all.
I gave up with the sound gauge, but anyway I'm most grateful for the help. The plane is again flyable and more enjoyable with these mods.

BruceU:

First of all, I don't do support via private messaging as it doesn't allow for third parties to chip in.

I cant seem to get the GPU Plug In light to extinguish on warning panel. Where exactly is the APU click area located, I cant seem to find it above the EHSI control panel area.

I think it also stays lighted for me, regardless of APU/GPU state. Bug, feature, I don't know...

PS Any idea how to get the Trimble gauge graphics to show in a seperate 2D popup window, I can edit the panel config and get the Trimble display information to show but not the gauge graphics.

Nope.

Great mod, thanks. everything works great but i am having some problems with the fuel, the engines are only taking fuel from the right tank. No matter what i do with crossfeeds! Any idea? i tried almost everything but there is no fuel selector!

Ok, thanks for the quick reply but i am having this problem since first day without mods, then i thought it was going to be solve with an update or this mod, but still the same, no matter what i do, switching aircrafts, reloading, etc.

First of all, please improve your grammar. Your posts are awful to read.

Second, it could be your default flight that's screwing with things. Create a flight with the Cessna 172 or so, set it to cold&dark and make sure that the fuel selector is set to "Both", then save the flight as the default flight, restart FSX and try the Metro again.

for those of you who are using BK and LS's excellent mods and if interested, you can change the elevator trim sound to a 'beep' as in the real thing.

edit the 'BK_LZ_merge.ini' file in the \Gauges\RM3_Cockpit_Sounds folder, add item #35 at the end of sound and lvars sections:

[Sounds]
.
.
.
Sound35=.\Gauges\RM3_Cockpit_Sounds\trim.wav

[LVars]
.
.
.
Lvar35=DSD_trim

and place the trim.wav file (attached to this post) in the same folder.

then edit the RM3_CockpitSounds_BK.xml file under each Metro_Mods folder 'RAZBAM_MetrolinerIII\Panel\Metro_Mods' and 'RAZBAM_MetrolinerIII\Panel.1\Metro_Mods'
by changing DSD_Battery_Sw to DSD_trim as shown here:

There already is a - mildly more complex* - mod for that (see link list in my mod manual).

*No trim sound when flying with the AP on.

yup, adding a new gauge or a simple edit of some of the files, good result can be had. btw, thanks for the mods.

OK, Bjoern, this is all I get:

... a flashing PWR FAIL light that will not go out, even when the engines are running. Also have no warning lights on the main panel.

Help!

"March 11th, 2015". Humm...well, there've been a few changes to the modifications since then.

The latest deals with fixing a bug in RM3_Custom_BK.xml that made the Metro impossible to taxi without NWS and there's now a mention of the 2D popup mod and the Readme accounts for XMLTools 2.0.1 now.

The download link remains the same.

Wow, still playing with improving this? Impressive, one of my favourite regionals and your work just makes it better.

I've just gone down the P3D route and am wondering if the Metro works in v3.3.5 as well as FSX (I got the bundle years ago when it was first in the sales)?
