RAZBAM Once in a lifetime sale!

I need some help here.:censored: I can't get into his site with my existing account even after getting a new password. Also I registered from a different email and still no joy. I've bought stuff before so am at a loss as to the solution. I even checked out simMarket but they want $2.00 more per plane and I'm going after about 6 of 'em.

I sent an email requesting help a couple days ago, but so far no response.

I'll see if I can get a message across to them - oddly they are doing a lot of their support work via Facebook, but it was effective for me.

"Paypal problems in the store: It seems that our paypal module is overloaded and is giving false "Order is already paid" replies to some orders. Please wait for a while and try again later.
It also seems that the PayPal problems is IE related as in IE 8 or IE9. I suppose that some obscure script blocker is active and stopping the PayPal module to work correctly, it all depends on individual set ups. We are working to fix this, but if you can, please use another browser to complete your transaction. I recommend Chrome. If this still fails, please regard to the 1st option, wait for a while and try again later.Offer is up until October 31st, so there is still plenty of time

Thanks for your support!

Best regards

ron"

If people are having problems accessing the Razbam site, most of the products are available at the Pilot shop on the Flightsim.Com site for $5.

Thanks for the Pilot Shop intel, Paul. The usual suspects either didn't show the products at all, the discount or were charging more. Looks like I have some serious work to do here. Lots of lights:applause: with some serious carbon footprint issues involved.

And a thanks from me for the flightsim pilot shop hint Paul. I picked the Buckeye up there with no problem and I'm about to give it a whirl!

I've been getting the same Paypal message for a couple of days now, both with IE 8 and with Google Chrome.

Any ideas how to make this work?

I think it is just a case of keep trying - after several hours of trying on Sunday it just suddenly worked. I wanted to do it on the main Razbam site, as that meant Ron got the money quicker; but others are going via Pilot Shop, that could be an option.

Hi Racartron
I don't suppose you picked up the Skyraiders and the Skyhawks to sort out the lights on them also?

Regards Paul Day.

Already had the Sky Raiders but never got around to "Shocking" them. An error that will soon be rectified. Same goes for the Sky Hawk. I already had vol 1, but now am fully "hangered" with vol 2, 3, and 4, so lighting will commence soon. Am just finishing up the Intruder as we speak. Also now have the Banshee in the queue.

Here are the A-6 Intruder "Shockers." This set fits all versions

I'm a bit wary of participating in this sale because a couple of years ago I screwed myself by purchasing a bunch of aircraft I thought were for FS9 and which instead turned out to be for something called "Strike Fighters". I just came from the RazBam store and find that my wariness remains well founded. As an example, there is an Intruder labeled "Strike Fighters" on the cover, but if you wade thru the blurb, it lists the features of an FS9 version and further down, an FSX version. However, the Download box has an option for only Strike Fighters.

Is there a fail-safe way for a simple man like me to know EXACTLY what I am getting?

Hawkeye

Just read the descriptions on this store page...the Strike Fighter packages are marked Strike Fighters Only.

http://www.razbamsims.com/store/index.php?cPath=1

If you need any clarification, ask and I will give you a link to the FSX/FS2004 versions of the packages you are interested in.

I can tell you that the Banshees are well worth the money, as are the A-6 Intruder, T-2 Buckeye and Skyhawks packages (I have volume 4 but have heard that the other three Skyhawk packages are just as good). Next month I plan to sneak the credit card out of Deb's purse and pick up the FSX A-7 package and maybe another of the Skyhawks packages.

Off Topic...sort of

Is STRIKE FIGHTERS a game? A sim? Has anyone here used it?

How does it compare with FS9? With CFS?

Where is it available?

Any other comments?

Strike Fighters is a jet combat sim, set in the 60s. It has had a number of forms over the years...but has always been a well thought out and very intense combat sim. I have an older version called Wings Over Vietnam...never did really learn all the ins and outs of it....should install it and see if it runs under Win 7 64-bit.
