Is it possible to make the drag chute visable on FSrecording playbacks? The way canopy's and drag chutes are animated on most planes, you never get to see them operate on playback.

There is a drag chute included, but it´s coded to work like the a folding wing, so i doubt it will be visible in multiplayer, but will do in playback.

Great looking model. Brings back memories of the Oregon ANG F-102s 'blasting off' from KPDX during the late '60s and early '70s. Dem sumbic#es was LOUD.

We did a nice job on this one but Ron has taken it to the "next level"... nice stuff Ron! (and a nice job by David of Iris too on the gauges, very professional)

BTW, i´m taking requests on schemes, but have to be peculiar and particular to these birds while in service..also looking for turkish and greek schemes as well..

How about a SEA camo version without the stripes in the center of the fuselage.

I just looked at 8 pages of 102 pics at airliners.net, and most of the camo paints didn't have tailcodes, and none had the stripes.

I like the 509th FIS (PK) paint with the stripes. The thinking behind having a SEA camo without the tailcode and stripes is that it was more representative of the majority.

On George Bush's old squadron paint, maybe you could put "O-bomba" on one of the weapons bay doors...just a thought.
:icon29:

This looks really nice. Are you planning any Greek or Turkish paints? I believe we ere the only two countries outside USA using the Dagger, if only for a short while.

And I think Alphasim turned this model down a while ago ! <rolleyes>

Ron, super AB, just super, might have to 'commission' that from you for my F-100, the pilot figure too, I'm rubbish at figures, just rubbish LOL.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I am sure the real thing could not have been that difficult to fly, I seem to remember that a certain ex- Texas ANG officer named George W Bush was rated on this type???:icon_lol:
