Red Tail paint "Jacquie"

Just uploaded a rendition of my friend Dr Thurston Gaines's P-51D named "Jacquie". Dr. Gaines started his tour towards the end of the European conflict in Feb. '45, he was on a strafing mission on 4/15/1945 when he was shot down by ground fire. Dr. Gaines has been a friend of mine for 3 years now and I see him at various events honoring the Tuskegee Airmen. Enjoy!

Chuck,

Thank you !
Installed, very nice skin, high res, and nice tribute to the famous "Red Tail Devils" ...

Thanks all! I talked to Dr. Gaines today and he was pleased to hear of the interest in our community in his rendition of "Jacquie". I have some other paints I haven't released yet but will soon, one is of a GAS Stearman 75 rendition that was owned by my friend Billy Walker and last year he sold to CAF in Mesa, AZ. Also I've been working on another BT-13 with photo realistic textures of my dad's markings by of Chris Herring of Top Flight Sim. I made a set of Put-Put's BT-13 2 years ago, but when the shareware vs. appeared I went to work to create new textures again and discovered recently that dad's plane had a pre-war blue & yellow scheme instead of bare metal. It'll be awhile yet before it's ready, weathering it now. But if you're interested in the Stearman I could offer that very soon. Here are some screen shots of each.
