RTW 2010 Practice 1 Thread

I was looking at CYVQ, but go where you will,as I cant do the next leg,I have to sort out the kid's clothes for school tomorrow, then get some sleep! Thanks to the wife going to her mate's for a week,I have them all:more time to fly at long last, but more hassle too.Hope to do a leg tomorrow though!

NB Sim now shows clear skies! If you guys arent down yet hopefully it will update in time!

No shame here this is a tough airport

boy, howdy.
that's an understatement.
I'm wondering how they get that river
to flow around and above this bowl.

oh well, so it goes.

I will not be thwarted!
that's what practice is for.
now, I've got to go put lights on the tree.
:salute:

edit;
oh, right!!!
wingman makes it,
baton makes it.
WTG, PRB!
I had better always have a wingman

Smilo, don't be discouraged by this. We (well, I) deliberately chose this route because it would guarantee bad weather and darkness. I'm feeling bad about that now, since these conditions are not easy, even for the veterans. However, don't give up. CYOC was a particularly difficult approach due to the terrain around the airport. Darkness and bad weather don't help. The first three legs I ever flew ended up as crashes, so don't feel bad!

thanks Paul.
I did, but I don't.
trust me on this
you did the right thing selecting this route.
we must be able to operate in all conditions
and the only way to learn is by doing it the way we are doing it.

if you guys can stand my ineptitude,
so can I.
like I told you,
I'm a stubborn old ***.
you can't get rid of me that easy...:icon_lol:
