RTW 2010 Practice 1 Thread

I have the baton from CYCO to CYCB in the He-219 Owl.

Edit: Restarting. Had WX set to fair from earlier.

Baton is free at CYCB. We are very close to N 70 degrees here. Be mindful of a SE direction moving forward.

About half way round?

Looks like the baton is almost half way round the world. It started at 101 degrees East, so when it gets to 79 West that's about half way.

The route so far (a view from a LONG way above the north pole)

Weather @ destination

1 kts of wind from 280

Visibility 15.0 sm

Currently a gentle snow fall

And its dark LOL

Runway has lights and VASI

No terrain issues at all.

Altitude 164'

Straight in on rnwy 13 would work well.

Good luck

Thanks Dave. When I realised it was 4,000' gravel runway, I guessed it wouldn't have lights! Runway 13 is the plan. Must remember to slow this Mustang down in plenty of time...

My weather (FSX) is telling me there's 3/8 cloud down to 1500', 12 mile vis. Should be fine.

ETA 10 mins.
