• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

RTWR 2013 Open Practice Thread

Ok, dumb question time. Where the heck we going? :icon_lol: LGZA I suspect... I was headed for UOOO up and east, one of our other required stops (oops). I guess that's why we need a plan. (Plan? Yeah a plan. The Russians don't take a dump, son, without a plan!) (Bonus point, what movie?)

- Paul

HE HE I love that movie.

Who knows but when we get there we will be there.

Finally going to get a leg in tonight. Been real busy and have not had time to see where we have been going. If you launch before I do I will just follow suit later.

Wondering why we'd go to Uooooooooo and then back east.... west.. to Greece and the S. Indian Ocean. Maybe my FSNav got distorted when I crossed the Tropic of Capricorn. Well, I'd never have gone as east as we had...

Besides, it's SO cold up there...

Well crap Teamspeak crashed then FS crashed had to abort leg

Baton back to UKBB

Will try it later if someone does not beat me to it.

Recommend srgalahad's "Plan Capricorn 1", whereby we head to LGZA from here, then to UOOOO. Minimum number of zig-zags, maybe. I should have checked the map more closely before heading to UOOOO in the first place.

ETE 0:50. At altitude, weather is nice, duenna is not cranky. Almost done draining the evil fuselage tank in the Pony. What could go wrong?

- Paul

ETE 0:30. GS 394. 45 knots of wind up here, but basically a crosswind, with a bit of a tail wind component. Not complaining, mind you.
