RTWR 2018 Practice 4

I have the baton from BGSS to CYCY in the FSX RR De Havilland Hornet. That should get us back over N70.

Have baton. BGJN - CYVM. Default FSX King Air 350. FXRealWeatherPro. This fills "2nd flight default AC" requirement. Provided I turn to "on" all the switches labeled "ice", that is...

Aborting flight. I read the last leg post wrong. The word "not" went in one eye and out the other. Baton back at BGJN. I completed the flight and had the baton FedEx'd back to BGJN so Milton could take it north-ish.

I have the baton, BGJN - CYCY in the Hawker Sea Fury FB11 by David Hanvey and Paul Barry.
FS9 Real Weather

This will take care of N70

Baton back to BGJN on crash.

Hit tail wheel and empennage on ridge on approach in fog and snow. Lost tail feathers control. Wrestled for 5 minutes but was unable to get it stable enough to land.

Bad luck Milton.

Given that you "crashed on landing", and Duenna shows CYCY, I suggest we invoke rule 9(d), meaning I can take the baton from CYCY after 15 minutes (1745 UTC). North 70 requirement met. :encouragement:

I'm just warming up the engines on my favourite B727-200, which I haven't flown in a while. Time to head south.

Good idea. Hope you are light; short runway. :)

On approach to CYCY, there is a slight hill that if you follow VASI lights you will strike on medium final. There's small hills on both approaches not easily seen in fog and snow since they are white covered in snow.

I did land with tail in ground but took off again trying to save it. In hind sight, I would not do that in the race as its a waste of time.
