Saving key map bindings FS2024

In FS2024, is it possible to backup the joystick key bindings, like a file that could be used to export and import so that remapping is not needed?
If so, what is this file(s) and location?

Yes, click on the little gear cog on the lower left-hand side of your controls page (mine is called "My New General Profile") and you will see the option to "Export". Once you have clicked that, it will export a file for you to save. I think you only need to do this once and it will export all your control settings.
