I would LOVE to make Eagle, but I don't have the drawings/plans like I do the others, and they cost a fortune (e.g. from NMM)! However, if anyone has drawings/plans of her they'd be willing to let me use then I'd make Eagle a priority, believe me!!

The current order goes Centaur, Hermes, Albion, Bulwark.

Also.. I wasn't completely happy with the remade 154 on the 154 re-issue (v2) so.. I knocked XD240 up and fiddled a little. It's now where I want it. To match XD240.. HEREs a replacement fuselage_sides map for texture.154. Just drop this one in and let it overwrite. 154 and 145 will now match;)

Rob.. should you happen by, 3 things for the wish list:

1. The aft nose gear door. I'm convinced this should stay down when the gear is down. Could this be done?

2. Wing tanks.. at least in place of the Matra. TPers would still have the Aden canon and Sidewinders.. or maybe an option on the Clean model?

3. A refuelling probe.. done with a visibility tag?

Indeed they do. You have to have wingfold mapped to a key/button or use the lever in the cockpit (black yellow on the LH bulkhead just below the landing gear lever):encouragement:

This is such a gem... but that would be perfection. Rob told me once when he's done with a project he likes to move on and leave it alone so that's probably unlikely but no harm in asking. I love this model and have flown little else since it came out. Perhaps we could have a whip round and try to bribe him to make an exception:encouragement: chuckle...

very much enjoying using the paints you guys have done BTW.

Perhaps, but he has done more than one version of the Gannet, and there were two distinct releases of the Sea Venom, so let's hope.

Don't you feel a pillock when the penny drops. I seem to be doing this more and more:dizzy:

Hope Rob doesn't kill me but when the wings fold.. you'll get supports in place too. Fine for being parked up but it looks a bit odd while you're poodling around the flight deck to the cat. I might be wrong but I'm sure all aircraft had wings folded when moving on deck until they were lined up on the cat. Don't look and you won't notice it:encouragement:

Got another one on the go.. XD267. It should have been straight forward but the nose number font is giving me trouble (I don't have the exact font) and the red fin needs tweaking. Looks unremarkable here..

Shaky Scimitar

I've been having issues with Rob's recent jets. The Scimitar, F-106, and Skylancer all start shaking quite violently when I fly faster than ~120 KIAS. Below that speed there is no issue. I have tried replacing the model file, model cfg. and aircraft cfg on the Scimitar with the non-TacPac ones made available by Rob on this thread but it didn't fix it. I don't have Acceleration but I do have SP1 and 2. I'm guessing that's the cause of it? Has anyone else had this problem?
 
There's a drag table in the .air files that FSX at SP2 is unable to process. That drag table replaces an older drag table which, however, is (presumably) not included in Rob's fighters' .air files.

As easy as it sounds, fixing this is not for the faint of heart. You'll need intermediate knowledge about FSX' flight dynamics.
