My daughter has just hiked a 150 mile section traveling north starting at Timberline Lodge.
Her husband is still "at it" having started on the mexican border.

It's hard to believe, but in 38 years of using Microsoft Flight Simulator, I have only flown across the Atlantic twice in the sim (but 32 times in real life!). Last night I completed my second trans-Atlantic FS flight.

Using the Cessna 404 Titan, I had already flown a series of flights across Canada (from Victoria, BC to Goose Bay, Labrador). So, I decided to make the crossing via Greenland and Iceland. My final touchdown was into my old home of Inverness, Scotland. (see below). I might just make this a round the world flight for the next while.

This is one of the nicest flying jets in my hangar. It really is a nice cross-country jet too. I installed a 50k autopilot system in it. Works great! That being said you don't want to see my monthly fuel bill! This jet burns around 600 gph at FL250. I did a night flight from LAX to SFO. I fixed the cockpit lighting so now it's a pleasure to fly at night.
