Brilliant shots Forest! I for one LOVE the way these flying boats "sit" in the water! Are the water spray and wake effects any better than in 2020?Making my way along Chile heading to Ushuaia, while testing aircraft in 2024. Both of these looked and flew great.
Grumman JRF-6B Duck (Big Radials - Direct). Minor issues: No Pilot, No Cold Start, GPS display not scaled to fit screen.
Latecoere 631 (Blue Mesh - MSMP) Minor issue: No Pilot. As far as I can tell, if this one had a pilot it would be in the 100% 2024 compatible list.
This is actually one of my favorite MSFS aircraft to fly.

I've stood at most of those spots. Nice ones!As Dvj says in post #103, "Gotta admit, the scenery renders are quite lovely".
Some views of the Yosemite Valley and the Half Dome from Glacier Point.

The new MSFS2024 Gauge Glass Effect (the Got Friends Elvira Optica is one of the very few default FS24 models that has it applied currently. Pity ! ) would give this already wonderful looking VC an enormous boost !
Sure ! Thought it wouldn't hurt to hint at it... ;-)Of course the F-86 is only a straight port from '2020, so there has been nothing done to it for '2024 but just me bringing it into the new sim.
Yes, absolutely, but it's the option to include it in a FS24 VC and that it finally can be seen without having to sit on the floor which was mandatory in FS2020 ;-) I really hope many devs will include it in their FS24 upgraded models. The gauge texture effect in the '2024 Got Friends Optica might look appealing from afar, but when you zoom in you'll notice that the static reflection that Got Friends added isn't that of the Optica but of an entirely different aircraft.
Haven't managed to take a look at the obviously wonderful looking Waco YMF. Soooooo much to explore ! Thanks for the tip ! ;-)Speaking of reflections, I've noticed that mirror reflections can be made to be very detailed now, as can be seen in the mirrors of the Carenado Waco YMF. It makes me hope that developers bringing their aircraft into '2024 will take advantage of that ability.
