It might be my favorite of the default MSFS 2024 aircraft, but there are so many good ones it's hard to pick just one. It's funky, because it handles/flies very much like a modern aircraft, as it is and as it's supposed to, and the cockpit/interior is very modern, but looking out from the cockpit at the shape of the nose it can feel a bit reminiscent of flying a seaplane of old. It feels very stable, but at the same time has the smooth but boat-like/floating feeling in the air that I've noticed in the improved flight dynamics of 2024. It has a fair touch of adverse yaw, but the rudder is also very effective. It cruises about 180 kts with the power up, and the modern auto pilot is easy to use (the auto pilot controls on my Honeycomb Bravo work perfectly with it). It also has fairly realistic feeling dynamics on the water, and it's got a fun feature in that it has two small thrusters on the lower aft haul for water taxiing, which are activated via a switch in the cockpit and work in conjunction with your rudder movement. It's a lot of fun!

Departing Cat Cay (MYCC) Bahamas, headin back to Florida.

First flight using this Beech and it was an odd one. Heading into Tallahassee (KTLH), the right engine died for no appearant reason and wouldn't restart. She still flew just fine but when I went to turn off the AP when I reached the airport I got a silly MSFS pop up saying "Engine malfunction".
Made the landing, but the left engine died as soon as touched down. Coasted off into the grass and left it there.

Pensacola (KNPS) looking great.

Heading into Gainsville (KGNV).

Taking the Spitfire around the airfield of the Bristol and Gloucestershire Gliding Club (one of many new default MSFS 2024 small airport sceneries). Note, it helps to have "Displacement Mapping" turned off when flying from this airfield, in order to smooth out the runway surface, otherwise the amount of dips and hills added with displacement mapping can make it quite treacherous.

Luv the Jenny. Did not know that the Curtiss JN was available in FS2024. Is it standard, or an addon? And are there any other vintage biplanes available? This is the style of flying I really enjoy.

I think the Jenny was one of the free aircraft that was made available by owning MSFS2020. I think it carried over automatically into my MSFS2024???

Another nice one I own is Big Radial's Nieuport 17.

Another interesting/odd old bi-plane I have is the Dorand Ar.1 that I bought through Simmarket. It fly nicely but the looks of the wing covering are unusual. It looks like it's covered in burlap. I think I would fly it a bit more if anyone had done some after market repaints.

Forgot these from Saturday's Florida airport check flights.

Heading out of Daytona.

There are bears in Central Florida.

The Otter flight didn't go so well, but it did give me a chance to check out the great detailing on tree stumps. :)

Heading into Plant City.
