• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Screenshots (FS2024)

Here is a selection of the many screenshots I've taken of the newly-released Blackbird Simulations A6M5 Zero this afternoon. I've already gushed all about it in the release thread. It is certainly amongst the best $25 I've ever spent on a flight sim aircraft (it's worth far more, in my opinion). I can't wait to fly it again tonight.

My first repaint for the MS/Asobo AT-6 Texan is now available on Flightsim.to, depicting the restored T-6G N29931, which is based at Flying Cloud Airport near Minneapolis, MN. There's hardly a square inch I didn't customize on this one, both inside and out, to try and very closely match the real aircraft. All screenshots from 2024.

Finally got to give a try out after an issue getting hold of it.

After watching a tutorial on Youtube, about which controls to map and how to realistically operate the thing, I made my first flight in the hot air balloon this evening - a short hop over Oshkosh with live weather. Today, I started watching a little bit of the Oshkosh webcams - by Saturday, it's going to be insanely busy once more, as AirVenture kicks off next week.

I'm really impressed in the detail of the wicker basket, and how all of the wicker strips are individually modeled in 3D - as such, you can see right through the spaces between all of the overlapping strips.
