Screenshots (FS2024)

I am flying a cross-country flight from KPIE to KMIA. I loaded up the flight plan into the Garmin. I am using the autopilot to fly the trip. So far so good and the airplane is tracking the course very well and maintaining altitude too, no issues so far. I do have a slight texture issue as you can see on the left side the national insignia is missing the portion of the back half and entirely missing from the right side. Also missing on the upper left wing and lower right wing.

Where did you get the J-10?

Been flying the "freebie" Piper Dakota in 2024. TimHH made a stunning red repaint for it. I also use marcfsx's TDS GTNxi mod which adds dual crossfilled units and an autopilot for those longer flights. Honestly it's a decent bird, probably one of their best GA. Funny that it's free, when their latest C210, C182Q, Baron 55 have been pretty buggy as far as payware goes.

How are the updates coming along on the B-17? I've held off because the first version was widely panned. Is it improving?
Flys better especially on landing. The interior through most of the plane past the cockpit has been heavily darkened, too much to my liking. No new click spots to a sparsely click spotted cockpit. No informative banners for click spots. Disappointing speed of improvements. I'm unsure where this plane will improve to but I am enjoying it despite it's simplicity.

No Sir. As expected. What to expect from a dev that can't even get a wheel animated correctly... With the second 'update' they've got the rim animated but not the tire... holy moly...

Check back 4th quarter next year (maybe..)

Oh, Flying Iron, where art thou ??!....

Not sure to tell you the truth. I check their Discord and I don't think they have posted a reply there in a very long time? A few weeks ago I inquired about a P-38L paintkit, but never received a response. They made a P-47 for X-Plane but never for FS2020? I wish they would finish up their B-17G too, but...........probably not going to happen anytime soon. The stuff they do release it top of the line.

On a whim, I picked up the "Circle B Ranch" scenery from the marketplace. After playing around that airport for several hours this morning, I can highly recommend it. Nice detail, great location (in south-western Wyoming -- not too far from Jackson Hole), and most importantly, LOTS of fun. If you're looking for a good place to do some crop dusting, or just need a little, out-of-the-way, private airstrip, this one really works for me.
