Sometimes the sunrise/sunset skies in this sim are genuinely stunning. This is sunrise over Puerto Rico. The low clouds just catching the sun contrasting with the dark land and the high, wispy (cirrostratus?) clouds were just perfect. It looked better in motion in the sim, but wow. When I was back playing with Flight Simulator 5.1, I could never have dreamed that this kind of flight sim experience was possible.



Also, Taog's Dauphin is superb.

Darn crosswind! Could've been an expensive landing, yikes! B-25 MSFS2024 Crosswind landing CWHM in smoke

We've been enduring the worst forest fire smoke in Southern Ontario this summer. The sky was yellow for a couple days, amazingly accurate simulation with live weather. Makes for some mystic screen shots.

I wish they'd done the civilian firefighting version of the B-25. You could've helped out.

Landing KPIE this morning. The nose wheel had to be handled with care and landing 3 point was not consider a good idea. You need to keep the nose up and this picture demonstrates the correct pitch attitude. Landing speed was 105 kts at flaps 100 percent 112,000 pounds.

It's the Boom Supersonic XB-1 by FlightFX, and should be free at the marketplace. It came with my install.

Took off out of KBLH for KLAX this morning. Planning a visual backed up with the ILS to 25L. The Connie is a beautiful airplane and thanks to the Redwing Team for recreating the Queen of the Sky for us to enjoy in FS2024! It is one of the nicest flying airplanes I've flown in the simulator.

Somehow I had completely forgotten about that plane... Seen from that angle, I thought it was some prototype from the sixties or something

It reminds me a bit of a TSR.2 but with an extra engine! Not a daily flyer but nice enough to fly once in awhile. Still wish the Darkstar was part of the Fs2024 package though,
