It's the Captain Sim one that I upgraded to have full PBR textures. Air to air refuelling is achieved with PayloadManagerX, you can't actually "connect" like in DCS or so, but if you disable the latch on setting and set the refuel radius to some low number, it'll make it so you actually have to hold position within a realistic distance, which is quite tricky to do with three 70s vintage turbofans as it turns out! Lastly, the refuel probe is a custom model I also added through PayloadManagerX.Great shots. What L1011 model is that and how did you get it to link up with the VC-10?

There....How's that? I found it.Need to hit the defrost switch there GE - looking great!
Correction, That was five (5) mig kills vice six (6).VF-24 achieved six MiG kills over North Vietnam, with four occurring on July 21, 1967, and two on May 19, 1967. The kills were made with AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles and 20mm guns, and the squadron became one of the Navy's first "Ace" squadrons with these victories.
May 19, 1967: Lieutenant Commander Bobby C. Lee and Lieutenant Phillip R. Wood each shot down a MiG-17 using AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles.
July 21, 1967: Commander Marion H. Issacks, Lieutenant Commander Robert L. Kirkwood, and Lieutenant Phillip R. Wood each shot down a MiG-17 using a combination of Sidewinder missiles and 20mm guns.
VF-24 was embarked on USS Bon Homme RIchard off the coast of Viet Nam at the time. They flew F-8C's at the time.
(no hard points on wings for carrying bombs - F-8E and > had wing hard points.)
I was assigned to VF-24 ordnance shop and assisted with all the ordnance uploads for above mentioned Mig kills.
