• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Thanks Collensr...that picture triggers many, many memories. Last time I visited North Island (the year was 2022) it was a "Master Helicopter Base" with Osprey's and Seahawks. Of course there was still the occasional F-18 in the pattern. I'm lucky once in a blue moon to get "space A" at the Navy Lodge on the beach where they filmed the football scene for Top Gun: Maverick. I could go on and on, but, for those who don't know, your picture shows the famous "strand" where Naval Amphibious Base Coronado is located which contains BUDS...Navy Seal Basic Training.

BTW Skyhawk18.. Very very nice work! Looks outstanding! I'm still stucked with my old sim (but still loving it), but maybe sometime in the future, I will upgrade to "MSFS2030"...:LOL:(y)

If you don't have Airshow Assistant yet, get it! The refueling and formation features are game changers for FS2020!
