Still impressed by the depth of this sim.

Nice one, Noddy! :encouragement: (exquisitely painted by Jan-Kees i presume ? )

I always thought of the G-91 as the younger, somewhat less spectacular looking, little sister of the F-86D/K Sabre. The dutch AF flew the F-86K (Kaasjager) and somehow never bothered to paint it. The P-212 specifically was a dutch AF camouflaged F-84F that, apart from the camo, doesn't resemble the G-91 very much of course (still a great looking repaint ! ;-)

With the G-91 stripped from any paint, the bare metal polished up just a bit, and the camera nose painted matt black with a very dark, olive green anti-glare panel behind it, an amateur aircraft spotter will (mis)take it for a dutch AF F-86K Sabre anytime. Q-305 in big, black letters right underneath the anti-glare panel will complete the illusion.

(just thinking outloud :) (what do you think, Jan-Kees ?..))

Awaiting the paintkit.....

That does look rather fantastic, John. And that's 'just' a port, right ? I can't even begin to imagine how extraordinairy it will turn out to look when developed as native MSFS model with all bells and whistles included.

I do hope, when that'll happen someday, they'll give the pilot a white scarf flapping and whirling about in the prop wash. That's the only thing missing in your wonderful screenie above. Even if it won't be flapping & whirling that much. :)

With regard to the Dr.1, it is just a port, and I'm afraid it will never be developed as a true MSFS model unless someone builds a new one from scratch. This particular Fokker Dr.1 was released way back ahead of the release of the game Rise of Flight, it being made and released by the same company that developed Rise of Flight. The Dr.1 model was released for FSX as a sort of marketing tool, and it was their only ever involvement in Microsoft Flight Simulator, as far as I know. The quality, still to this day, remains stunning, and the flight dynamics in FSX were made so spot-on to the real thing (it is unrealistically easier to handle in MSFS). That particular paint scheme, which is one of the repaints I made for it, was quite a fun use of various textured filters to try and achieve the streaked green paint over linen appearance as seen on the real thing (SE-XXZ), which of course was a factory process to try and achieve a level of camouflage.

The airports seen in my screenshots of the Dr.1 are "ESUC Timmele" and "EHOP Middenmeer Aerodrome":

I highly recommend checking out Borgillios' other addon sceneries as well - a lot of great little airports spread across Sweden.
