• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Sorry, here are some more. Kansas City to Aspen. Planned to come in with the Glideslope to Runway 15, but with the wind pretty much coming from that end, ATC wanted me to do a visual approach to the 33. Came in pretty much right over the mountain you can see in the second to last shot. Flaps full out, gear down to maintain speed, had to cut engines to idle before dropping and still accelerated to over 150mp/h. Might have been slightly uncomfortable for the pax in the back. Afterwards I found out I maybe should have done a circling approach for the visual as well. Would be very narrow for something as big as the DC-6, though. I guess taking the plane there might not have been as realistic as I thought it'd be. Plenty fun, though.

Hi Mr. Muguel,
I have followed your flights with the DC-6 with interest.
Is the Western texture used in the last serie available somewhere?
I have never seen it before.
