Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

I see she became a QF-104A and was destroyed on her 25th Drone flight on 29 Jan 1971 shot down by an AIM-4H missile fired from an F-4E Phantom.

Yes, I have also seen this information. (We may have the same data source).
Once again, it was very interesting to dive back into the history of this very active period of aviation.
I also learned that in September 1968 during one of these unmanned missions, she was hit for the first time under the left wing by an AIM-9. The controller had managed to maintain control and bring her safely back to Eglin AFB where she was repaired.
Before being assigned to GE, in May 1958 she had broken a speed record departing from Edwards AFB. The same year she participated in AIM-9 firing exercises at China Lake NAS.
I think the nickname "Queenie" comes from one of GE's test pilots, John Meritt Fritz. On some photos, we see him posing next to the nose art, and in particular with the FG-763 called "Queenie II" which also wears a livery that would deserve to be lingered there if we had more documents.

Landing at Block Island while testing the SU10 beta. Running in DX12 & TAA Anti-aliasing. Also testing aircraft compatibility with the SU beta and all good in the L-10.
