QC with this bird is not the best I think...

It's true that several things in the liveries sliped by during testing as focus was on the way it flies. The patch that will come out shortly will correct these to a large extent and the paintkit will let you do much more. Here's some views of the corrected liveries:

Fantastic job, Dimus ! Looking great, thanks a lot ! :encouragement:

Would it be possible to have a bit of shine/reflection on the paints maybe...?

I bet particularly the Golden Hawks bird is polished up each day !

The metal ones are all shiny and so are the Greek and the Italian aerobatic teams. The GH ones needs that polish. And the dirt on the wings has to go. On it, thanks!

Good to see better fonts, will you be doing something about those rivets as well?

Btw Dimus,

Just stumbled over this :

When do you think you can have these ready Sir ?.... :biggrin-new:

Joking aside, i always thought, next to the always striking looking paints on the F-86's bare-metal surface, the camo paints for the German, Canadian and English Sabres catered for a nice change to that. Would that possibly be food for thought for you, Dimus ?

F.i. here's a nice example of an RAF Sabre :

Ok, it's an RC model, couldn't find a colored photo of a real RAF F-86 quickly but if it may have your interest i'll be your humble servant in this my good sir. :)

Btw(2), cc Jan Kees and ZsoltB of course

Thanks Dimus ! Good to hear the polish is heated up ! :applause:

Here you go sir! Cleaned up and (more) shiny:

Jankees, on the rivets, nothing will be done on this patch but I will pass it on. No more paints from me on this one as I go back to making the next BB scenery package. I'm sure the painters will use the paintkit well.

Looking mighty sharp, Dimus, absolutely wonderful ! Thanks very much ! :applause:

Sorry to hear you're leaving the Sabre paint shed. I might have to put on that white jumpsuit myself then...:)

Thanks again, Sir !

Btw, agreed with JanKees about the rivets !

Come gather 'round rivet counters
as fast as you can
cause painters are leaving their brushes again
we need smaller rivets
as everyone can see
and if they wont come to rescue
it will be down to me

This makes me happy! I saw the dirt on the Golden Hawks initial release and my first thought was that aerobatic team planes never get that dirty. The new shot looks *so* much better!

(Still, there's a whole contingent of prolific posters on the official forums who judge liveries by how chipped the paint is and how dirty they are. If it's not (1) shiny, (2) chipped all to hell, and (3) showing signs of six months of not being washed, "these look worse than FSX textures!!!")

Excited to see Jankees is looking at this. :)

Hoping to see some FJ-2/FJ-3 Fury liveries on this. (I know there are some differences, but I doubt Milviz is gonna do a Fury. Though I'd buy an FJ-4 in a heartbeat!)

Very well done. A great repaint.

Is that pilot avatar a MSFS default pilot or is it from that pay ware avatar pilots?
