Here's a nice little backstory to this RAF livery I've just made available. Someone over at FS.to private messaged me about how much he liked my RCAF livery for the Sabre. He then told me how his father flew a Sabre for the 130 Punjab Squadron RAF out of Brüggen, Germany. In 1954 while on a training mission, he had to force land his Sabre XB927 after it quit at a height of 35,000'. The plane was totaled, but he walked away with only a laceration on his thumb from climbing out of the wreckage. Dave lost his father, and asked if I would be able to recreate his aircraft for him to fly. He provided some amazing personal photos and his dad's log book entry of the incident. Of course I said yes. It's for the dads! One thing about this sim, I think of my late dad often. I think we would really enjoy flying together. Anyway, here's a few screenshot of the finished plane, I think it's one of my best.
