Gonna be an exciting time at Edwards the next few years as there are many new aircraft types, manned and unmanned in the late stages of development. Here is the new T-7A trainer for the USAF which is moving through its test program quite well.
The second B-21 Raider recently went to Edwards as well. If the F-47 ever breaks cover it's likely to join the fun at Edwards as well, hopefully soon!

Definitely one of my favourite bases to visit ! so much history and you just never know what you might see out there over the lakebed!!
 
The Big Ugly, aka the U-Boat, officially the RC-135U Combat Sent. One of my favorite aircraft of all time.

I created this model and the whole C-135 series for FS9 and MAIW 10 years ago (those were the good ole days!) and had a blast doing all of the white top versions. There are only two of these in existence which made this one a rare bird indeed.

I loved the MAIW days - when we could build our own military flight plans easily and quickly!! Got to a point when I spent more time on flight plans and adding object detail to airports than I did actually flying!
