Considering the dimensions of a Flying Flea, I believe it should work. It's, however, a 2axis airplane what would make it somewhat risky. I should try to fly through the arch of the Arc de Triumphe in Paris, so in case of a mishap I will at least crash the plane in it's homeland... but can you fly through the arches?
It's a custom F-18E model that we added some weapons to, including the buddy refueling pod. It's not functional, just flying off a friend and timing the shot carefullyThese are good...please explain what went into them (Esp. #2 animations & 3 WTH), and where'd the sub come from?
Does that mean the F/A-18E in your screenshot actually has an animated refueling probe ?It's a custom F-18E model that we added some weapons to, including the buddy refueling pod. It's not functional, just flying off a friend and timing the shot carefully
The sub is a very random inclusion of an aircraft carrier scenery package that adds a bunch of static carriers (which don't have working cables sadly). One of the other carriers had a Zumwalt next to it lol. I don't remember the name, it was originally posted to .to but I believe is taken down now
Yep this one is animated. The probe, canopy, tailhook, wingfold etc. all tied to lights so they can be seen in multiplayer. That's a big thing for us.Does that mean the F/A-18E in your screenshot actually has an animated refueling probe ?
The reason I ask is because the default F/A-18E doesn't have one, and then the Aerial Assistant tool kind of adds one magically when you call the refueler.
So is "this one" the Super Warrior version mod I've seen on FS.to? It seems to run well, but with a few minor bugs in the HUD. On a moving (Miltech) carrier, I see a constantly moving "pipper" circle in the HUD, which really gets annoying on final approach to the boat.Yep this one is animated. No the one pictures is a separate model/entirely new aircraft. So is "this one" the Super Warrior version mod I've seen on FS.to? It seems to run well, but with a few minor bugs in the HUD. Doesn't happen on land landings, and doesn't happen with the freeware F/A-18F or E/A-18G.
Cool thx. As an ex EW guy, I really like the Growler, it’s my Hornet of choice in MSFS. Thx for those projects - they’re getting well used in my sim.No the one pictures is a separate model/entirely new aircraft.
The Super Warrior mod to the Asobo F-18E added a lot, but then I made my own mod that added on top of that to add weapons and some other stuff. It went through multiple changes as Asobo broke/un-broke/re-broke things and I don't remember if my mod ever got posted to .to and honestly I'm not sure if it still works. It probably does. I didn't spend a lot of time on any gauges or screens though so not sure about that, it probably wouldn't be any different than the regular Super Warrior mod. I made the F and G, so probably just luck that they work better!
