WOW! Your skins are always a work of art. I often pause the screen and just observe as if I were in a museum staring at a painting.:ernaehrung004:

Those look great John! And that elusive Me 323 keeps showing up - will it ever see the light of day?

Those look great John! And that elusive Me 323 keeps showing up - will it ever see the light of day?

They sure do!
And about that Me 323 - I am sure that when it ever pops up, it will wish it never did:

"On 22 April 1943, a formation of 27 fully loaded Me 323s was being escorted across the Sicilian Straits by Bf 109s of JG 27 when it was intercepted by seven squadrons of Spitfires and P-40s. Of the 27 transports, only six reached their destination; the remaining 21 of the Me 323s were lost while three of the P-40s were shot down by the escorts." (Wikipedia, 'Me 323' page)

It almost seems a waste of John's perfect paint job!

Yea I think there is, but this one is a never finished MAW project, it needs a bit of tinkering, it moles very badly, but works well otherwise, I need to get it fixed up and sent out, textures are good to go!

Yes I think there was one, but it was so unfinished as to be nearly unusable even as a target. Moling can apparently be fixed by editing the bdp (and remembering to never delete it!), but I've yet to figure out how that works.

Been trying to fix a moling problem i'm having with a bunch of Just Flight BoB aircraft for years and never got anywhere with it. I do remember something about contact points though. Modding the bdp file is not a good fix.

IIRC there's something in the Knowledgebase sticky. One quick way is to make the wheel diameter bigger in the contact points section of the .cfg file. Of course, its a virtual wheel diameter and cannot be seen. That is probably the quick and dirty approach, there are other ways to amend the contact points.

I was thinking the other day that if the Spitfire undercarriage of the early models was a bit narrower than it should be, the wheel contact points could be set to the correct distance apart anyway. Would save an awful lot of my AI wingmen when returning from a mission.

I don't think it can be amended in the contact points section. IIRC it has to do with the naming of the landing gear parts in the source.
