That Ta-152 model I showed above isn't the beta you can get in the download section, it's a completely different model that has not been officially released. It was made by Luca Festari, a side project from way back to the old MAW days.
How about some dispersal shots, Ive been adding a heap of frontend.xml files to get different sun positions on the UI screen and placing some extra vehicles around my airbase facilities to simulate activity around the aircraft. I have also tweaked the unit type entries using #aircraft#1 and #aircraft#2 so each airbase has 2 different types of aircraft on the base, could be bombers or fighters.
I recall and installed some work that was done to the airfield scenes that was done by someone i now forget. It was awesome and immersive. This looks interesting and well done. Thanks for the work involved. Really looks immersive ! Regards,Scott
Still working on a fully comprehensive set of Clight files. This is the one of the DR Hurricanes in MAW where some of the gauges are live and some are just static painted on the panel texture. Getting both types to look like they match in color and brightness can be tricky. (Night scenes in game always appear somewhat brighter than their screenshots because your eyes adapt to the overall darkness of the environment.)
Looks great John. Of all the stock aircraft, I think the 262 is one of the better made ones. Nice to see it getting some attention. And for the longest time I couldn't figure out what fitting you had stuck to the bottom of the starboard engine nacelle - then I realized it was another aircraft!
Wow! I am shocked at how far this sim has come! Moreover, I am shocked at how active this community remains, and some of the old names still knocking about in here. I haven't even been in here in a couple years. Rock on guys!
