Hello Mick ! Hope you get the pc problem fixed soon. Miss your and Bravo/4 posts lately. Apparently think i have graphics issue but Andy is helping out as usual,so i guess the "work" is never done to improve this wonderful sim. Regards,Scott

Straight from the workshop. To follow my Mustang overhauls I'll take on the stock P-38J/L next. Surprisingly much technical variety to be found, at least six different flight dynamics will be presented.

You might want to consider using these effects for the P-38.

The tail lights belong to just in front of the upper rudder hinges, not on the top of the fins where you've placed them. P-38s have two navigation lights per wing, on the upper and lower wing surfaces, your version only has one per wing. On the other hand there shouldn't be two landing lights, only one on the port wing. And definitely not flames from the wastegates, the engine is well beyond its last legs if that happens.

Not to mention that most of the rest is you trying to sell my own work back to me. Those engine start coordinates, shell effects, formation lights, are straight from the ETO stock P-38 that had its effects made by yours truly back in 2008 with some actual research involved.

greycap, MajorMagee, you guys have my respect for all that you have contributed freely to CFS3. I take my hat off for your specialised knowledge and what you are able to achieve with this old platform. Both of you have at times appeared a bit grumpy, but above all this your contributions have been very important over a long period of time, so thank you! :encouragement:

Oh G, that's down right gorgeous.....isn't it?

That IS a photograph of the real thing really..ha ha.

A great model, John's superb tex and bump mapping and Ankor's best shaders...I can't get over that reflection difference between the sheen of the fuselage, and the high reflection off the canopy, and the fact that's it's the bulged version to allow the pilot to see better all round, fantastic.

Cheers

Shessi
