I dunno Scott, I don't think anything untoward is intended. There are few to appreciate it because there are very few of us at all, and that's because this is a 20+ year old game that wasn't even that popular when it was new. Thanks to Steve, as of this month we have the first map in which significant eastern front action took place (at least that isn't hampered by being right on the edge of the Europe map) for the first time in those two decades. No surprise to me that Russian planes haven't gotten much attention all these years without a map to fly them on. Especially since Great Battles exists. I remember a thread from 2007 entitled "CFS3 is Dead" or some such. And here we still are, with people still making cool stuff.
