• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Screenshots!

Something we see a little less often. Closing in on a wounded Heinkel already under fire from another Defiant.

Installing them this weekend. My pc crashed and am using a backup pc now. Just reinstalled 10 CFS3 installs. Sad thing is i last backed up the CFS3 installs on the external SSD around 2 yrs ago. A little catching up at hand. Can't wait to try them out. I'm sure to post some shots here and the facebook site !!! Thanks Ted !

What are your sea settings? they look great!
Hopefully coming soon to a sim near you!

These are new, 4096x4096 wave bump textures, with some new shaders settings created specifically for them. Other improvements to the sky and haze shaders and the sun are also influencing it, as is my already-released water color mod.

I believe the highest resolution wave textures we have currently available are 512x512, so the new ones will have 64 times the pixels, and it's quite a difference. I have set up multiple sea states that you can select between before running CFS3, conforming approximately to the Beaufort Scale for estimating wind speed.

I have created sea states ranging from "Calm" to "Strong Breeze."

Some of my other recent shots in this thread also show the new water.
