Seafury: three greens!

Following yesterday's request for the use of certain wav files released with the original Hawker Seafury package, co-author Paul Barry very kindly granted me permission to include them in the soundset I'll be releasing on Friday. My sincere thanks Paul!

My thanks also to the kind and prompt help from people here at SOH in contacting Paul.

I believe that somewhere here is an ongoing thread; 'FS sometimes makes us go...WOW!
Perhaps this should be rephrased;

'The people involved with FS sometimes make us go...WOW!'

Quite some time ago, I did a re-work of the Sea Fury FB11 for CFS2. Both Dave Hanvey and Paul Barry were very willing to grant me the permission to create the "Trio" packs and add an assortment of weapons to the models for that sim. My hat is off to both of them. Truely fine gentlemen in the FS community. :ernae:

My limited '2-cents' worth..

After 10 years of FS....must say that the Hawker Sea Fury series by Dave Hanvey and Paul Barry is still my number one 'Prop-Job" Warbird!!...(sorry all you Spitfire and Mustang fans)..their up-grades from the time it first appeared has kept it at the top of my 'Hit-Parade-chart' Can't say enough..one of the best FS addons..bar none!!

Gentlemen, I find myself in total ageement with all of your remarks and will endeavour to upload the Seafury sounds today, for your pleasure!

And yes, the Merlin Spits and even more; P-51 certainly make their song...but for shear power and jaw dropping, thundering sound, the Centaurus has no peer!

You bet I've got the sounds..first off...but have yet to install and fire up. Family things keep getting in the way. By tomorrow I should be in 'sound-heaven'..!!
