It will kangaroo a little if you are too early on the brakes in a hot landing, or if you overspeed the takeoff.
Otherwise, pretty docile, and a nice addition to the hangar.

I told my self not to buy do to issues some people were having, but I bought it this morning and I get the bad bouncing :angryfir: I guess I will ask for my money back. It is ashame it is such a beutiful bird too.
 
Is this what your contact points look like? This is the new set that Carenado sent me that fixed my bouncing problems and *should* be contained in the latest installers...

Yes it does but date on file is 7/27 installerdate is 7/29
 
It seems to me that one smooth runways she's awesome but on "rough" runways she has a spongyness to the gear. Seems like a little too much sponge in the gear to me. But I am still very happy with the plane and thanks Carenado for your continued support of FS9! :ernae:

Hmmmm.... I received that set (and an updated installer) on the 27th - and have had no issues since. I actually think it might be a little bit too smooth, if anything!

In other news, this was found on flightsim.com today - pretty fast work, and looks awsome!

she is ok on default runways....but i found that on a lot of payware airports..the bounce will start....

Even on default runways i have the issue. I sent a email to them requesting my money back. :banghead: i do like the fact Carenado has good customer service if i don't get money back i am sure the will credit my some how.
 
You guys who are having issues: did you download the latest entire package, or just bits 'n pieces?
I got mine yesterday, and have been in and out of a dozen payware fields, rough and smooth, and have no bouncing issues.
I'd like to see developers continue to produce stuff for FS9, so let's give a hand, rather than cane them.
Have a go at the latest package maybe - if it persists it may just be a video setting problem...
 
I dont think it is video it prolly has to do with incompatabilty with other addons. But i still wainting to hear back from Caarenado I also would not mind getting the 152 from them as a partial credit and work on trying to fix the Bird I hate the wainting game though.

This is the third time I had buyers remores from payware am I the only one that gets tierd of feeling this way?

Just a bad day, my wife has been in the hospital since Monday was hoping this bird would cheer me up a little.

When I reloaded mine I had to do it twice. The second time aropund I deleted the plane and gauge cab and this worked magic.
 
i downloaded it again from the website and re-installed it from scratch. Still has the bouncing issue...but only at certain airports. I'm wondering if it has to to with the terrain detail being set to 19 instead of default 21? Donno.....i'll play around w/ it later. and i usually get it after a longer flight (1 hour+)...so could be a CG issue too....

she's a beauty to fly in the air....but the bounce part does ruin some of the fun...

I think default is 19...interesting I set mine back from 21 to 19 and it did seem to bounce a little...:isadizzy:
 
Is this the setting TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19 I never changed mine from default.
