• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

SimTech P-39/P400 Paint Kit?

Normally David Green made his files available both here as on Flightsim.com. So you could try there.....

Dave may have done some paints for the P39 but I'm not aware of it. If he did it would be a very good one.
But I will be working up a revamp on that project here soon so I will make a nice paint kit for it for you guys.

Tom is too kind. My recollection is I did two paints for this plane. A George Welch version and a winter white Russian version, both are at Flightsim.com. Search David Green and I think you will find them. I think I only uploaded the paint kit here at the Outhouse. I've long since lost the file so if they don't have it here you will have to wait for Tom's kit which will probably be better than mine anyway.

Hope everyone is happy and well. Life is very busy on my end. Once my kids leave for College, in about a year, I hope to get back into flight simming again, maybe even sling some paint if the mood hits.

The paintkiit is no longer in the SOH archives going based on the link not being active. Although it should be close and available from someone.

SimTech P-39/P400 Paint Kit

This is a layered Paint Kit for the SimTech P-39 & P-400. I made these from some of the original textures done by Phanis. This should make it easier for people to paint this plane who may want to. You should be somewhat familiar with working in layers in order to use these files.
