That's why I didn't notice it: my sliders are fully to the right, I work with a rudder pedals and a HOTAS.

SimWorks Studios F-4B Phantom II patch

The F-4B patch will be probably released this weekend, taking care of the three major issues reported so far. Our testers have been giving it a run for its money this past week.
Additionally, a small but significant update to TacPack stuff is included. Uploading the revised tactical manuals right now. It is important to know that TacPack functionality will NOT be available in servers with TP anti-cheating enabled with the current version.

We have also added a new livery, VF-151 as it appeared on USS Coral Sea on October 6th 1965! ;)

The patch will be followed within a few days by the installer for USS Coral Sea.

P.S.: The payload manager has been switched to Shift+1

Your course of action is very responsive for a beta product. I rarely found it in other beta-claim phase. Great job. And hopefully the fix includes a lite texturing.
 
Not this weekend......... Take your time guys, I know it's a lot of work. I appreciate what you are doing. Been trapping the beta a lot! A great plane already even gets better!

I bought the Phantom today expecting to get a package with updates included but cannot complete installation as there is still a difficulty with Microsoft Visual Redistributable or whatever. I would like to be able to install this product but can't see it spelt out anywhere what I need to do. Please can some kind person explain in simple terms what I need to do?

XMLTools requires that VC++2010 is installed on your computer. If it detects a newer version, Microsoft has made it so you cannot install the 2010 one. In that case, you can go to your add/remove programs screen and check if it is already in there. If it is you can ignore the error.

The update works for me! Got significant better FRS! I even turned of the overclocking and still have very decent framerates! Thanks SWS!

Alex has kindly put me on the right road and I have installed the update without my previous problems. Thank you Alex, it's now up to me to master this Phantom and get the best out of your excellent creation.
