Skinning the Marauder!

Just some minor stuff today, weekends are for flying! :biggrin-new: The firewall is exposed in white, so going to see if that can be found to paint.

Engines :adoration: , Ted, I just tell most , two whooping great P-47 engines bolted to each side ... just info for the non plane nutters :encouragement:

Nice maruader, always did like Attack Aircraft. Excellent Firepower and Range make them an effective weapon. Say, didn't the Marauder effectivly serve the same purpose as the A20G Havoc?

As it turned out to be one hell tactical bomber, the load was only almost equal short range - to a standard max load for a long range B17/24 mission , they got renown for ground sweeps , dang impressive machines .. and seriously even today really look like they have a purpose.

Just uploaded the repaint, will be available when approved.

Repaint for Rev A – Martin B-26B-10 Marauder Medium Bomber by W. E. Stephens

Test repaint feasibility of the model.

Awesome work, man, W. E. Stephens' B-26 needed some skins. Especially glad you picked my favorite time of camouflage (1942 OD) for it, gives me a reason to fly the old gal again.

P.S. Will this template be public?

Dear Tu-Fun

Looks splendid-as all your work

I checked even with W2 pictures I think its close to perfect

some humble suggestions-I am no repainter and all that may be model limitation

You may want to look to the cowl flap( inside) area and the upper engine cowl joint to paint that white areas
Front glass joint to fuselage is probably not white but grey like the lowest and most up segment
Vent grill on top of engine looks a bit "seperated add on"

Still tiny issues

And humble wish

No 1,3 and no 4 metal repaint would be great as well

Those areas are not mapped for painting, thus not able to fix those. Only the author of the model can.

At certain angles it does look good. Make for some nice screenshots which was my intent on doing (formation flights). Because of those issues, that maybe why if any repaints were done. I have the same feeling about it also, thus didn't spend any more time on a paintkit.
