Ok i sent Steve my contact info, and really i am very willing to go or to send my assistant if there is a rush emergency or to buy the machine from them and send it or the info to whoever it goes to.
My only hang up is weather, there is snow expected this weekend, but after that i expect it will clear rapidly.
those remote connections are indeed a bit tough. I am standing by here, i am about three hours drive time from Grand Junction and will do what i can to help.
Details on why they had difficulty in downlaoding the files (is the CD or DVD drive not working....computer locked with security protection or just not used to working with computers....) will help so i can prepare measures to recover the data. If it is connected to the internet still, i can upload the files to my archive online and then the files can be transferred that way, as well as on DVD CD. I will consult with my tech here once we have more details .....and i can possibly arrange to take a zip drive for the recovery too.
i am a newb here, so i will need to know details on what to look for and who to send it to when we recover it
I do have and know CFS, CFS2 and CFS3 as well as FS2002, 2004 and FX so i understand the basics of the file structures and so forth. but will need full details.
