ok guys, i just had a wonderful phone call from Ed's son in law and they promise to save and send all the files. they want to honour Ed's love of the sim and have figured out how to burn DVD's and found the work files on Ed's E Drive. i emailed into to Steve for direction as the family is talking to me on the phone and i am happy to help coordinate...they promise nothing will happen to the computer or the files..and that they will send whatever is desired to honour Ed's love of the sim and all the work you all did.

i am so glad they reached out to me as i felt really bad to have to cancell my trip up there, it turend out to be a 10 hour trip and my condition is not great currently and my surgeon said i could not go :faint: so i felt real bad and like i let you all down...so this is great news to be able to pass on .

i have talked to Steve on the phone and he is getting in touch with the family and i see safn is going to be in the area! so things seem to moving along well on this.

I explained in summary as best i could how the sim works and what kind of files that Ed and the team had had to create. the family sounds vey very nice indeed. and I conveyed condolences and our huge appreciatin for all of this and they said they know how much this all meant to Ed and want to help carry things on.

Fellas I am at Moab Utah and will be going thru Grand Junction on the 4th of April.I have my laptop with me and can burn cd's and dvd's.I also have wireless internet although it wont be fast enough to send files that large.I will pm some of you so you all get this and I can give anyone my cell.

I will be glad to help,I have to drop a friend off at the Denver airport on the 5th and can backtrack to Grand Junction after if it is necessary.
