• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I'm hoping Wallymart down here might have a copy of fs9 or even 2002 so I can at least do some spotting. The hotel WiFi is pretty good so I should be able to get online and TS... more as it happens.

Kinda hate being a bystander

Leg aborted - a crash over Black Continent (no lights and I accidentialy turned upside down while maintaining ascention - overstress again). Needsome more practice on night flights. This seafire is a tough bird though, not easy to manage.

Dang good idea to install an autopilot for those dark stormy nights! I once did a similar thing, in the Corsair, over Africa at night, had a rudder hard over and lost about 15,000 ft trying to recover from the spin but finally did and had to limp in holding full opposite rudder on the pedals! Turned out to be a trim runaway, have no idea why it happened! Whew!

The Dark Continent? Da! Looks like a bit less than an hour , supposedly the destination has lights.

Actual Location? Hong Kong....
