SOH Team Project - Grumman Tracker, Trader, Tracer

I just installed Dave's Cecil Field paint for the EC-1a (Thanks, Dave), and was wondering if I was missing some textures.

The install instructions for Cecil Field refer to a "texture.EC1A" which didn't come with the install. The install package I have only has Sacha's metalic

Did I miss it somewhere?? :salute:

Thanx

WH,

You can use the base textures from any of the non metallic E-1B paints. The package I had installed was the one from Milton, which had the base textures in a folder titled "texture.EC1A" It was the same base textures that the E-1B had. I haven't got around to getting Sacha's metallic textures yet.

but p3aewguy's paints have not shown up, yet.:kilroy:

The Cecil's field updated is there, but that's all.

These links should take you to the other two. They didn't show up in the "What's New" section, for some reason. I just tried downloading them through the links and they worked. Also, if you click the fs2004 addons, go to fs2004 skins, and sort by created date descending, they're there.

Thanks Dave, got them.

Unless I am totally blind, there are only 17 of your textures for the Grumman 7 shown. The only one of these last 3 shown is the corrected Cecil Field textures. Which means Rami hasn't okayed the other two, yet. Maybe he missed them?

That sounds about right. Duckie did a bunch also!

Dave

As of today, Rami said he has 2000 files that were migrated left to review and approve. He was trying to do 200 per day and save a bit of time for family. At that rate, he should be done with the 2000 files in 10 days. Of course, there is also the normal daily uploads to deal with.

Rami is doing yeoman's work behind the scenes and its good to remind ourselves of that once in a while.

Uncle Milton, may i ask how the Turboprop babies are coming? Just wondering. Thank you for all the toys!

Cag40Navy,

Unfortunately, we are still awaiting panel and gauge work for all TP versions and it may be Fall before we see that finished.

Also awaiting textures ...

It is not generally my practice but I may package these up with what I have and put them out there as alpha WIP models and let someone else complete them. The alternative is to wait ...

Less of a wait...

...than there used to be now for the Dash 1 Sfoof!

This one is ready for its USN Serial No. and squadron assignment. 1 Navy down, 2 to go. Next will be one for our Dutch friends and then a Glossy Sea Blue USN from the mid-late 50's. All 3 will be included for Milton to release the -1.

Wont' be long now.

Let me add my thanks also to Milton and his army and all the job security they created for Rami, and to Rami for accepting the challenge! Bravo guys! :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

Wow Duckie! That sounds very promising! Particularly seeing the screenies of this USN S2F-1 I'm eagerly looking forward to the Dutch Stoof paint. Thank you very much in advance from the Low Lands. :applause::applause::applause::applause::applause:

Steve,

Are you doing a paintkit as well?

Dave

Steve,

Are you doing a paintkit as well?

Dave

Hi Dave. I will definitely do a paint kit once I get the textures done for the initial release. My working texture files tend to become very large (30 to 40 mb each with some as large as 70mb) and I don't tend to do a lot of house keeping until all the dust has settled. But I will get cranking on it as soon as I have submitted the original textures to Milton.
