It should not be necessary as:
1) Even when the old archive goes away, it has been copied as a backup
2) The new libraries are backed up every day
3) The files that have been moved to the new library will have been there long enough to be on weekly and monthly backups as well.
And we will have many backups between now and August the first.
I think it is safe to clear you files.

A hearty thanks to everyone who had the time to jump in to move the old archive files, all 4700 of the FS9 files in a very short time. The effort went much faster than I expected. We have an awesome team here. Some of the team also worked on the FSX files so we really appreciate the double duty.
I know everyone does not have the time to be available for these heavy-lifting, time-consuming projects so it makes your contributions all the more valuable.

As of today, Rami still has 2000 files to review and approve. So, new uploads will still take awhile to show. Please be patient.

Most of the upload packages already contain pictures, but some people who uploaded did not utilize them when they uploaded the packages.
If you're talking about uploading pictures separately, please do not do this, because my task is tough enough. However, if you can go through the library and modify approved packages and use the screenshot that is already in the download package, that would be ideal.
That, along with consolidating updates and fixes to the original packages, was what I had in mind for the "streamlining" process.

Yes, I go through each downloaded .zip file on each page and look for a thumbnail or screenshot of what is in the file. If found, I run it thru PHOTOFILTRE to a 400 x ZZZ pixel .jpeg image, sharpen it and save under compression to reduce the file size as small as possible. Then, when uploading, I add it in where it ask for the name of an image, right after the file name. This was just as Milton instructed in his video.
Rami, you will probably come across some of my earlier uploads where I included a (made-up) .jpeg of a white background with black text stating "No Image File". I thought I messed up my first uploads because I had no images files so I made that up and used it for quite a few. It was my mistake. If you run across them, and I'm sure you will, just delete them.

Good evening,
Hey guys, I am back on task after being absent much of the last ten days, enjoying a little R & R following the end of the school year. My wife and I went to Martha's Vireyard and Nantucket for a weekend, and then I took my wife and our kids up to Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire and Maine for several days this past week.
I knocked out about 225-250 files tonight, I'll do more tomorrow.
Thank you glh for closing this one out. Now we can finalize the move process.
