Some DoughBree L-39C repaint thoughts..

What an absolute fest!
I can't remember when last there was this much repaint interest in a model!
I'll add my thanks to all of you, for making FS9 even better.
I agree. Beautiful aircraft and great repaints.

MY ONLY ISSUE is when we start flying this winter when the snow flies, that gal in the back seat better get a jacket or she is going to get some real big goose bumps. :salute:

While enjoying this Czech jet, why not download the great CAF airbase sceneries at :

http://www.flightsim.cz/fsitem.php?act=exe&id=377&lan=&menu= do not install that ai traffic, not a bad package at all, but my next link features more modern CAF assets and if you install both, dupicate aircraft might appear in parking area ...

and the newest Czech military traffic at : http://flightsimulator.cz/ai-provoz/doc_download/28-czech-air-force-2009-ai-traffic-pro-fs2004 ... do install this ai traffic, the more modern version of the Czech AF fleet circa 2009 ...

A few shots to share from my flights at Prerov, Plsen, Pardubice, Caslav, Ceske Budejovice and Namest.

Enjoy! Mike :salute:

Thanks for that AI link, Mike.
I see that Google Chrome has stopped asking if I want to have the page translated...if it sees a Czech page, it just goes for it! ;)

Zsolt, How about this one? My friend Steve took this at the 2010Oceana Airshow a couple days ago, and I REALLY like this scheme!

Man, these repaints are great! Enjoying Steve B's RAF fictional, DDR white and yellow, Afghan skin and the Czech gentleman who keeps on releasing these great CAF skins ...

Cheers! Mike :wiggle:

O.K. - but I'll stick to this scheme.
But I could use a little help on ZK-WLM. This is what I did up to now:

zkwlm4.jpg

zkwlm5.jpg

Although I tried hard, I didn't manage to grab a pic showing the upper wing/upper fuselage camo pattern - so this is currently sheer guesswork. It would be great if anyone could help me out with useful references on these areas.
I know that BananaBob once did a repaint on ZK-WLM with this pattern for the Lotus L-39, but it seems unavailable now. Any owners of this repaint here to help me out with a screenshot?

edit:
Naki? What about you?

Thanks in advance,

Kewl!
Thanks a lot! :salute:

Although the camo chips seem to differ a little in detail from the ZK-WLM paint, that's a good reference.
