  • Special Server Maintenance

Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Sometimes FS makes you go wow....

And if I can hazard a guess, I'd say Thunderbolt has a V2 Coral F15:

The forms of coral reefs are drawn on the basis of the satellite pictures from NASA. This scenery has a quite long visibility (approximately 100 km) using LVR (Long Visual Range Tool). The SBD is the donationware bird with Diaz's High def clouds

Frankly, I didn't notice it :icon_lol: I fly and sometimes paint them but I don't do the lights, It's the former donationware SBD so if some one can suggest a fix, I'll give it a try, I suspect it's an easy fix, just swap 2 settings

I wish I could post my most recent "Wow" moments, but I can't..doing so would be against site rules. I wrote an XLM guage that, when activated, makes the female passengers in Joe Binka's Wild Wilga and G44A Widgeon undress. Posting screenshots with the ladies in their birthday suits would get me banned for uploading pornographic materials.

Stuart Green's aircrafts and Bill and Lynn Lyons ground textures are a great combination. Especially when FS9 trows some low visibility magic over the image.

Whew that is a stunning shot.
I presume out of modesty the paint was not commented on, in the wow moment - it definitely doesn't do it any harm...
