WHOA!! I didn't know they had thought about doing an SR-71. I doubt they'll outdo you. They may make the model a trifle more detailed, but it'd really be hard to match your effort in depth and functionality.

Solar Eagle, that's a little off topic and it's likely to bring up some drama. That's been hashed out here before and it's never ended well. It always get threads deleted and stored.

You're right, and I'm sorry, although sim community drama is fun to watch, you gotta admit! I do learn a lot from the people here, just watching the how they handle themselves and respond to challenging material.

I just put it to the test and asked them a few questions.....and was kindly answered as always.

If I remember correctly they have it written somewhere that they will not answer questions about release dates, products features before release etc. Cannot disagree with them on this. If they make promise and e.g. say Buff will be released some specific date and do not release it that date they will be teared to pieces by us fellow simmers
As to the poll question - have answered 'Yes'. At least I hope so

After reading this thread at the weekend I sent CS an email and received a reply today. It confirms that the B-52 still in development, but no release date has yet been set.

Are they really that big of a deal? It's literally just, well....speculation and polls. If this is a matter of life or death, or at least serious annoyance, then you probably should stop yourself from participating. You could at least save yourself some serious stress. It looks right now as if 50 members have taken part in the poll.

They're supposed to be good innocent fun.

Your point about this speculation being irrelevant is irrelevant. There have been more than a few aircraft that've "still been under development" forever that never have and never will see the light of day. I simply posted this thread to see if others were wondering the same about this B-52.

That sounds fair enough to me. I don't think anyone planned on getting something done with this thread. It was just to BS about the Captainsim B-52.

Okay, to add my cent-and-a-half into the fray, CS products have been a joy for me. Never had issue one with em. As for the BUFF being finished, give em time, it will come. One thing I have noted about CS and that is they take their time to render their product especially at the detail level incumbent upon the standards of their work these days. They raised the bar in this more than once and I am sure they will again. The new 767 release was something I first saw previewed back in 05 I believe. Even then it looked pretty striking. I am confident the BUFF will be no different in quality once it comes out. Patience!!!!

I didn't know you asked for factual information in your last post that I replied to. Maybe you could edit that in. If you didn't mean to say that the thread was irrelevant, then why did you bring up your email as if it was an end-all? Please see below:

Besides, Speculation can be based on something as simple as a hunch. Why do you dislike speculation so much? It's literally no more than it is, a conversation piece. It only becomes something negative when it gets taken out of context. Maybe you assume that speculation will turn into unfair arguments and pure negativity? That would be speculation on your part.
