Trying to get the above for areas of Germany , Russia and Finland plus areas of the Pacific, Southeast Asia, North and South Pacific. Got some a few years ago, but now can't download the world map and any of the individual files from Simviation.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Can't access any of the files or the map or anything
on the page. Right clicking any link on the page just makes the link blink. Can't open or even save anything. from the page. Any ideas?

Which OS are you running?
It could also be due to your browser and its settings or your anti-virus. I check downloads from there from time to time with Defender and they come up as clean.

Worst case, I can post the Map zip file here then let me know which BGLs you want and I'll attach them somewhere here. :sneaky:

Wouldn't recommend those meshs anyway. They create a lot of cliffs, and I once discovered issues at complete opposite locations.

The 70 meter mesh (above) isn't that bad but its old.
I use it because things like smaller towns tend to pop out.
Its also very easy to figure out which BGLs you'll need and install is a breeze.
Maybe 1 in 100 airports might have an elevation problem, if that's important just delete that BGL.

The OP is having an issue (IMO) because the web site is so old.

Thanks for the offer. From what others have said, I might not bother and stick with Rhumbas mesh and other mesh scenery.

For Germany, you cannot go wrong with the freeware VFR-Airfields Mesh encompassing the entirety of the country: http://cr-software.com/FS2004_de/VFRAirfieldsMesh.htm

For SE Asia, Yohann Baptiste's efforts are highly recommended: https://library.avsim.net/search/basic/fs2004scen/Yohann Baptiste

cheers!

Some few weeks ago, it was discussed here about a suitable global mesh program. Today I visited Arequipa in Peru and was rather disappointed about the flat shape of Mount Misti, towering impressively above the city. I*m actually using Rhumbaflappy´s LOD7 mesh.

Thinking to get an imrpovment, I installed FS Gobal 2010. The mountain certainly looks more or less how it should. But the airport of Arequipa is now badly placed on a plateau.

Almost the same happens with the above mentioned Rothlisberger*s SRTM mesh.

So finally I stay with LOD7.

Might basically be ok, but how many airports are in FS9?

Bernard
I do understand your point, but there is no automated way to do all of them...or at least one that I am not in know of

Edit: another thing to try where elevations are concerned is: Burkard Renk / Aerosoft's MyTraffic 2006 ex-payware for FS2004 available here under additional downloads: https://secure.simmarket.com/aerosoft-online-mytraffic-2013.phtml

albeit, I am uncertain if the custom AFCADs for a large selection of the default airports, globally, take into account the mesh related elevation issues...I think that may just be the case, as the prior release of said custom AFCADS was included in MyWorld 2005 Complete mentioned in the post below, and which also included a global mesh and landclass for FS2004

I tested the Afcads of MYT2006's MyTrafficAirports. At least the file for Arequipa is nothing else then a default one with added parkings.

pity...perhaps then the AFX tool is the way to go; not much else out there....especially for FS2004
