SSW F-104G Canopy Scratches

Here is my new HSI and Moving Map display for the F-104G. The moving map is from the PMS50/GTN50 and is just a repeater of the moving map from the GTN50. It doesn't have any active clickspots, but it is a nice replacement from the unused radar screen that was there before. It does have lighting control as does the HSI. This is about as modern as I can get without building a completely new panel, which isn't an option. Both of these additions integrate well with the autopilot system which is perfect for long cross-country flights. Believe it or not this is close to at least 12 hours of trial and error over the span of 2 days using AI with at least 50 restarts to check results.

Here is an updated modification to the F-104G that integrates the PMS50/GTN750 into the panel and an updated HSI that now has TACAN support and a Distance To Go, DTG, readout that gives you updated distance to your destination in your flight plan. The autopilot and radios are controlled via Logitech external controllers, which themselves are programmed via Spad.Next. These mods have given this jet a sophisticated autopilot/flight director/navigation system which includes full ILS capability, making this a fast, all weather capable cross-country jet.

That's a completely different aircraft! I greatly admire your skills, but I hope you won't modify the good old black smoke and the legendary howl of the J79. ;):D

Here is a mod so you can change from the single cue to a dual cue by just clicking the mouse in the center of the instrument in the F-104.
